Each of our Luxury glamping pods includes an en-suite bathroom, kitchenette complete with appliances, table and chairs, armchairs and TV, outdoor picnic table with BBQ / fire pit and a private wood-fired hot tub. Our pods are equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and hassle free, including bedding, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Free on-site parking is provided.

Garthside is within close proximity to the Unesco World Heritage Site of Hadrian’s Wall, situated approximately 150m from Hadrian’s Wall Path and within easy walking distance of Lanercost Priory. A 20 minute, eastward walk along the Hadrian’s Wall Path will bring you to Hare Hill – the tallest remaining section of Hadrian’s Wall. There are many scenic walks to enjoy directly from Garthside and also to explore in the local area, including Talkin Tarn and Gelt Woods. The lovely market town of Brampton, offering local shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants is just 4 miles away and historic Carlisle is 12 miles from Garthside. The Scottish Borders, the North Pennines and Northumberland National Park are all within easy reach, while the Northern Lake District is accessible in under an hour by car.
